Daniel Frampton - The Wood (2023)

With the cost of living crisis continuing to impact people's mental health, access to green spaces is even more important than ever. At Weekley Hall Wood in Kettering some of the woodland and an entire wildflower meadow is under threat. Five large warehouse units and a factory are proposed, which will cover about 23 hectares of the land. Over 22,000 people have signed a petition at saveweekleyhallwood.com objecting to the plans. Here is a short film about the importance the woods play in people's lives.
